The big winner for movies was ”Slumdog Millionaire”.  It took home the awards for:  Best Picture; Drama, Best Director (Danny Boyle), Best Screenplay and Best Original Score.  Other winners included:  Best Supporting Actor; Heath Ledger (Dark Knight) and Best Actor in a Drama; Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler).

On the Television side ”30 Rock…” continued it’s run at the top bagging 3 honors and the HBO Miniseries “John Adams” brought home 4 awards.

All the celebrities were out rocking their low cut dresses and beautiful silver jewelry.  Overall it was considered a very successful award show and we can’t wait for the next one!
