The movie with the most nominations was ”The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” starring Brad Pitt.  It seized 13 nominations.  Right on it’s heels was ”Slumdog Millionaire”, the trendy award show pick this year.

Other nominees include:

Best Actor  – Mickey Rourke ”The Wrestler”, Sean Penn ”Milk”, Brad Pitt ”The Curious Case…”

Best Actress – Meryl Streep ”Doubt”, Angelina Jolie ”Changeling”

Best Picture – ”Frost/Nixon”, ”Milk”, ”The Reader”, ”Slumdog Millionaire”, ”The Curious Case…”

Supporting Actor – Josh Brolin ”Milk”, Heath Ledger ”The Dark Knight”

Supporting Actress – Amy Adams ”Doubt”, Marissa Tomei ”The Wrestler”

Director – Danny Boyle, Ron Howard, David Finch
