After taking a 3-month hiatus to spend time with her adopted daughter, Katherine Heigl is set to return to ”Grey’s Anatomy”. Unfortunately, her return may be short lived.
There are several reports circling that this season will be her last on the hit ABC show. Several close friends are saying that she is preparing to leave ”Grey’s” in order to focus on her bustling movie career. Heigl currently has five movies in development and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Now, we’ve been through this before with Dr. Izzie Stevens, but this time feels a little more real than the last one.

Although she is great on the TV show, the real money and fame for these folks is movies. She would be dumb not to make the move if she had the opportunity.
