Several days after the nation was captivated by the flying balloon that supposedly had a young boy in it, authorities have finally confirmed the incident was a hoax.
Richard and Mayumi Heene met in Hollywood as they were both struggling actors. They have already been on the show ”Wife Swap” and have been trying to pitch a reality show to several networks over the past year. This whole ordeal was a stunt, aimed at getting some national attention as to better their chances of landing a reality show.
While the Sheriff’s Department and D.A. are still sorting through the facts and deliberating how to charge the parents, it would appear that charges are imminent.
