On Monday evenings show Dave apologized to his wife and staffers for his indiscretions. The apology seemed as though it was heartfelt and sincere.
Of course, one to never miss a good joke, Dave poked some fun at himself too. ”I tell ya, right now I’d give anything to be hiking the Appalachian trial.” was one of lines he delivered to open the show.
While it will take some time to repair his image, everyone thinks Dave has taken a good first step towards achieving that goal.
