61st Emmy Award – Recap

In what turned out to be an entertaining night, the 61st Annual Emmy Awards went pretty much exactly how everyone thought they were going to go.

Host Neil Patrick Harris was good, not great, but good.  The speeches were funny, inspiring and pretty much on-par with the usual award show acceptance speeches.  The major winners where pretty much what everyone was expecting.

So overall, it was a pretty standard night.  The show was more entertaining than last years show, which some think was one of the worst shows ever.
