”G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra” rules the weekend

With summer ticket sales in somewhat of a slump, they were looking for a blockbuster to come get the movie-goers out of their homes and into the theaters. The new movie ”G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra” did just that.

Estimated ticket sales over the weekend put ”G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra” at $56.2 million domestically. It also took in an estimated $44 million overseas, bringing the weekend total to just over $100 million.
