The Vampire stunner “Twilight” stole the show at this years MTV Movie Awards on Sunday Evening. Host, Andy Samberg lead an exciting show with such shocking moments as the Cohen face plant onto rapper Eminem which caused him to storm out of the theater.
In other awards, Heath Ledger won the award for the best villain, Ben Stiller received the Generation award.
“Slumdog Millionaire,” which won a leading eight Oscars back in February, went into Sunday’s MTV Movie awards with six nominations but came away with zero awards.Viewers on Sunday also got brief previews of other popular blockbusters due for release later in 2009, including “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the Sequel to “Twilight”.
We think this was one of the better award shows we have seen in the last few years make sure to tivo it, if you missed it!
