Forbes Magazine released it’s Country List the other day with a surprising change at the top. Newcomer Taylor Swift vaulted up the list to safely plant herself at 4th on the list, passing the likes of Brooks & Dunn and Tim McGraw.
She reportedly earned $18 million dollars in 2008, which is only behind Kenny Chesney ($65 million), Rascal Flatts ($60 million) and Toby Keith ($52 million).
Forbes comprises their estimates based on estimates of gross earnings, merchandise revenue, album sales and income from endorsement and licensing deals.
While she still has a ways to go in order to break the Top 3, at 19 years old she is well on her way to become the most powerful, and rich, women in Country Music.
