The novel is being published for young adults through HarperCollins and is tentatively slated for a June 16, 2009 release. With both television shows being such a hit it will be interesting to see how the first installment of the novel goes with the public. Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to let you know!
Lauren Conrad confirmed yesterday via her MySpace blog that she is in the process of writing a 3-novel series. The title will be ”L.A. Candy” and the story follows a 19-year old girl named Jane Roberts (original, huh?) that moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. Lauren said the book is ”loosely ispired” on her life and her life experiences.
