Well, the 2009 Grammy Awards have come and gone.
The big winners this year were Coldplay, Lil’ Wayne and Plant & Krauss. Plant & Krauss took home 5 awards including Album of the Year. Lil’ Wayne snagged 4 awards while taking Rap Album of the Year and Coldplay won 3 awards which included Best Rock Album and Song of the Year.The real story of the night were the outstanding performances. U2, Kate Perry, Carrie Underwood, Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney and Jay-Z were just some of the performers who rocked the house.
Overall this was one of the biggest and best Grammy Awards to date. I can’t wait to see how they try and top it next year!
